Between 1955 to 1982, visitors at Disneyland and, later on, Disney World needed to purchase separate tickets for each destination they wished to ride. By the late 1950s, the trips were separated into 5 tiers– A, B, C, e, and d– based upon their popularity.
” E”- ticket trips were the most desirable tourist attractions, and although Disney eliminated the system, the term is still used to refer to the significant, top-tier attractions at the parks.
Today rides like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway would be thought about “E”- ticket tourist attractions..
