Santa Clara County opens vaccination appointments to everyone 16 and older – The Mercury News

The state, meanwhile, is expected to broaden vaccine eligibility to everyone in the state 16 and older on Thursday.

SAN JOSE– Santa Clara County on Monday night opened COVID-19 vaccination appointments to anyone who is 16 years of age or older and works or lives in the county.

Other Bay Area counties that are allowing teens to set up appointments include Contra Costa.

Patients who get their medical care from the County of Santa Clara Health System can also reserve a shot, according to the countys COVID-19 vaccination eligibility and scheduling site.
